UKE-Start

I’m Hooked! What’s Next?

UKE‑Start is a relaxed, small‑group session for players who already know a few beginner basics and want to keep building confidence and consistency. It’s the perfect next step after a beginners course, a friendly refresher for anyone returning to the uke, and a supportive space for more experienced players who enjoy revisiting foundations and strengthening technique.

Together, we’ll explore chord progressions, strumming and finger‑picking techniques, and other early‑stage skills that help your playing feel smoother, more musical, and more confident. Everything is paced gently, with plenty of repetition and room to grow at your own speed.

  • When: UKE-Start meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month, just before the NBUG Main Uke session. Check timetable for dates and times.

  • Cost: $10 for a 1-hour session.
